Racial Justice Task Force Movie Night

Wednesday, May 15 at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall

The next RJTF movie night is Wednesday, May 15. We’ll gather in the Parish Hall for dinner at 6:30, and at 7 we will begin showing the third episode in Ava DuVernay’s four part documentary, “When They See Us” about the five men, teenagers at the time, wrongfully convicted and incarcerated for the brutal attack on a woman in Central Park. Please join us, whether you were able to attend for the first two episodes or not. If you want to catch up, all episodes are available on Netflix.

One of the gifts of Movie Night at MAPC is that we have the opportunity to view movies that are difficult to watch or assimilate, and then be able to talk together about what we’ve seen and what it might inspire in us. Please use the link below to sign up so we have an idea how much food to order. Your presence matters, come join in!
