Education & Formation
No matter your age or interest, MAPC is committed to nurturing your faith and Christian formation. We regularly offer Bible Studies, special speakers, book groups, and prayer meetings as a way to connect with the community, grow in faith, and wrestle with the challenging issues of our day.

The Racial Justice Task Force
In 2020, the members of MAPC formed the Racial Justice Task Force to lead the congregation in exploring MAPC’s past, present, and future relationship with racial justice. In the two years since its creation, the task force has:
Engaged the Center for Jubilee Practice as a consultant and guide in the ongoing work of antiracism
Formed an antiracism discussion group that studies literature focused on racial justice
Formed working groups made up of staff, congregants, and community members oriented toward action-based transformation
Hosted educational events that explore the church’s theological and historical ties to racial justice
