A Little Jazz Mass

During the 10:30 am worship service this Sunday, May 12, the Church Choir and members of the Saint Andrew Chorale will be singing Bob Chilcott’s A Little Jazz Mass. We will be joined by superb classical/jazz pianist Simon Mulligan and his jazz trio. There are as many types of music as there are ways to pray, and hearing the familiar words of our liturgy in a new context will no doubt prove enlightening and inspiring! The Gordon & Lillian Hardy Music Fund, a music endowment provided by longtime and beloved MAPC members who were active in the performing and visual arts, will make this Sunday’s special music possible.
