Men’s Breakfast; Tuesday, February 13 at 8 am

In my previous church, I met with a group of 15 to 20 men every Tuesday morning at 7:30 am. Some were retired, some were on their way to work, but no matter what our days held, we met together to engage in conversation and dive into scripture. By reading the Bible together and relating it to our lives, we grew in our friendships with one another and in our relationship with God. Some of us even started volunteering with Urban Youth Impact, a non-profit where we tutored elementary students. It was a wonderful group, and I valued the camaraderie experienced within it. I’m interested in creating something like this here and look forward to discussing what a Men’s Bible Study might look like at MAPC. I understand there might be different dynamics that impact the time of day this group meets or even the frequency with which we might gather, but if you are at all interested in this group I hope you will join us on Tuesday morning at 8 am in the Parish Hall for breakfast, or email me at apj@mapc.com to express interest.
