In Praise
Five ensembles from MAPC’s New York City Children’s Chorus program – totaling over 150 choristers – will sing praises of what we hold dear: music, family, love, nature, country, and God. Art songs by Schubert, Handel, and Copland will be juxtaposed with modern works by Andrea Ramsey, Rollo Dilworth, and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The proceeds from the concert will benefit the NYCCC Tuition Aid Fund.
Tickets for this concert will be made available in April.

The Saint Andrew Chorale and Orchestra will conclude their 57th season with two beloved choral masterworks: Beethoven’s Mass in C and the Five Mystical Songs for baritone and chorus by Ralph Vaughan Williams in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of his birth.

Possessed of a rare high-tenor voice and a winning stage persona that comfortably embraces both comedic and dramatic roles, Marc Molomot enjoys an international career in opera and on the concert stage. He is joined by Alex Ruvinstein in a performance of Schubert’s pivotal cycle of 20 songs based on poems by Wilhelm Müller.
Saint Andrew Music Society - CPE Bach Festival Concert
Presented as part of a CPE Bach mini-festival celebrating the Packard Humanities Institute’s publication of the complete works of CPE Bach, students from the Juilliard School’s Historical Performance program will present chamber and keyboard works composed by Bach’s son, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.

Join us for our annual presentation of seasonal readings and radiant choral music, including James Bassi’s setting of the Wexford Carol. The audience is invited to join in the singing of hearty Christmas Carols accompanied by guest instrumentalists in the seasonal resplendence of MAPC’s sanctuary. Note that this year’s Carol Sing will be offered as two performances and will be by ticketed admission.

The Saint Andrew Chorale and Orchestra will open their 57th season with two beloved choral masterworks: Bach’s Cantata No. 140 ‘Wachet auf!’ and Mozart’s ‘Coronation’ Mass in C major, K. 317.
Due to limited seating those wishing to attend should buy their tickets in advance. It is unlikely that tickets will be available at the door.
Saint Andrew Music Society - A Memorial Tribute to John Weaver
An organ recital performed by students of John Weaver, featuring organists Chelsea Chen, David Enlow, Andrew Henderson and Alan Morrison. Dr. John Weaver served Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church as Director of Music & Organist from 1970 to 2005, and as Director of Music Emeritus from his retirement until his death in February 2021. The program will feature favorite organ works by J. S. Bach, Franck, Messiaen, Mulet, Sowerby, Widor and John Weaver.
