Would you like to know about important sites in our great city that shaped the lives of enslaved people? What, you say - in New York City? We were the abolitionists! We were the Good Guys, right? That last phrase is the subtitle in the New York chapter of Clint Smith’s How the Word is Passed, the book we will use to inform our tour.
Come join in for a 90 minute tour in lower Manhattan on June 19th, a national holiday, at 11 am, led by fellow MAPCers that will uncover information and emotions that could influence us even today. We’ll gather for a coffee or lunch afterward. Please sign up using the link below!
