Music on Madison: A Tribute to John Weaver

The Saint Andrew Music Society’s 57th Season continues Sunday, November 14 at 3 pm, with an organ recital performed by students of John Weaver, featuring organists Chelsea Chen, David Enlow, Andrew Henderson and Alan Morrison. Dr. John Weaver served Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church as Director of Music & Organist from 1970 to 2005, and as Director of Music Emeritus from his retirement until his death in February 2021. The program will feature favorite organ works by J. S. Bach, Franck, Messiaen, Mulet, Sowerby, Widor and John Weaver.

Due to COVID concerns and reduced capacity, this year we are instituting assigned seating for all performances, and we encourage everyone to purchase tickets in advance! This season upon arrival all concert attendees 12 & up must show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19, and all attendees must wear masks covering nose and mouth. Tickets can also be purchased at the door ($25; $20 – Students/Seniors 62+; children 12 & under: free).
