Saint Andrew Music Society Fall Season Announced
The Saint Andrew Music Society was founded by Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church (MAPC) in 1965. Now in its 57th season, an annual series of Sunday afternoon concerts is presented from October through May.

A Tribute to Camille Saint-Saëns | Students from Mannes College with Andrew Henderson, organ
As part of an annual, city-wide festival showcasing students from Mannes College—The New School for Music, this program features piano, organ, vocal, and chamber works by Camille Saint-Saëns in honor of the French composer’s 200th Birthday.

A Memorial Tribute to John Weaver
An organ recital performed by students of John Weaver, featuring organists Chelsea Chen, David Enlow, Andrew Henderson and Alan Morrison. Dr. John Weaver served Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church as Director of Music & Organist from 1970 to 2005, and as Director of Music Emeritus from his retirement until his death in February 2021. The program will feature favorite organ works by J. S. Bach, Franck, Messiaen, Mulet, Sowerby, Widor and John Weaver.

The Saint Andrew Chorale and Orchestra will open their 57th season with two beloved choral masterworks: Bach’s Cantata No. 140 ‘Wachet auf!’ and Mozart’s ‘Coronation’ Mass in C major, K. 317.

Join us for our annual presentation of seasonal readings and radiant choral music, including James Bassi’s setting of the Wexford Carol. The audience is invited to join in the singing of hearty Christmas Carols accompanied by guest instrumentalists in the seasonal resplendence of MAPC’s sanctuary. Note that this year’s Carol Sing will be offered as two performances and will be by ticketed admission.

Admission to Saint Andrew Chorale & Orchestra concerts is: $30 ($25 Students/62+)
Admission to all other concerts is: $25 ($20 Students/62+)
Due to limited capacity, we encourage patrons to purchase tickets in advance. All seating will be assigned.
