Racial Justice Task Force Movie Night, April 10th, 6:30 pm in the Parish Hall

The next RJTF movie night is Wednesday, April 10th. We’ll gather for dinner at 6:30, and at 7 we will begin showing the second episode in Ava DuVernay’s four part documentary, “When They See Us” about the five men, teenagers at the time, wrongfully convicted and incarcerated for the brutal attack on a woman in Central Park. We had a strong turnout to view part one, which is available on Netflix, and we hope even more will join us to watch the second episode.

One of the gifts of Movie Night at MAPC is that we have the opportunity to view movies that are difficult to watch or assimilate, and then be able to talk together about what we’ve seen and what it might inspire in us. Please use the link below to sign up so we have an idea how much food to order. Your presence matters, come join in!
