October Session Meeting
At its regular monthly meeting for October, Session took several actions:
Approved $5,000 for a scholarship established by the New York University School of Professional Studies to honor the late Ed Kleinert, a faculty member at the School and member of MAPC. Members of the congregation will be encouraged to contribute as well.
Approved budgets for work to improve the sound system in the sanctuary and to do needed work on the façade of the Church House.
Approved the 2022-2023 budget for the New York City Children’s Chorus.
Session also heard several encouraging remarks on the success of the block party on October 16 and the ripple effects it has already generated in several areas of church life.
