NYC Children's Chorus wins the American Prize!

The NYCCC is the winner of the The American Prize – The Ernst Bacon Memorial Award for the Performance of American Music (Youth Division) for their recording of Randall Thompson’s “The Place of the Blest”, the first recording ever of the chamber orchestra version of this treble chorus masterwork.

The American Prize, a non-profit competition, is designed to evaluate, recognize and reward the best musicians in the United States at the professional, collegiate, youth, and community levels. Thousands of performers from all fifty states have participated in the American Prize competition.
