NYC Children's Chorus launches new NYC Music Festival
In collaboration with the New York Choral Consortium and the Choristers of the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine, the NYC Children's Chorus anchored the "BIG SING, JR!" at the cathedral last Saturday, May 7, with an afternoon of rehearsals led by Mary Huff and Bryan Zaros. A Mini-Concert showcasing each choir and a collaborative performance with both choirs with music by Tallis, Rutter, Dvorak, and Dilworth. What a delight is was launching this annual festival for all NYC young singers!
Mary Huff will conduct part of Haydn's Creation on June 13 as a part of the New York Choral Consortium's annual "BIG SING" for adult singers: newyorkchoralconsortium.org/the-big-sing
