The next concert of the Saint Andrew Music Society’s 58th Season is on Sunday, March 26 at 3 pm featuring pianist Audrey Abela.
French pianist Audrey Abela will perform a varied program featuring three giants of romantic piano music: Schubert, Schumann and Chopin, and encapsulating the theme of nature. The program includes Schubert’s Piano Sonata in A major, Schumann’s Waldszenen (“Forest Scenes”), selections of Chopin’s Preludes, J. S. Bach’s Chorale, BWV 390, and a beautiful new work composed by Andrea Casarrubios based on the Bach Chorale.
