MAPC Fall Block Party Recap

On October 17, we hosted a community-wide Block Party that reintroduced MAPC to the community. Our vision for this gathering was to reconnect with the neighborhood through the various organizations, clubs, and social groups that make MAPC a vibrant worshipping community. Represented among these groups was the Anti-racism discussion group, the MAPC Day School, the Hood Library Fellowship, and many more.

Some significant numbers from the event:

50+ volunteers

100+ balloons given away

200+ RSVPs

400+ attendees

500+ meals served

We couldn’t have done it without the support of our congregation. This event was only the kick-off to an equally lively church year. For upcoming events, check out our calendar and news pages.
