MAPC Calls Sixth Senior Pastor
Dear Congregation and Friends of MAPC,
We are pleased to announce that at Sunday afternoon’s meeting the congregation of Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church voted to call the Rev. Dr. Aaron P. Janklow as the sixth Senior Pastor & Head of Staff of Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church. This begins an exciting new chapter in the life of our church. Dr. Janklow will begin his pastorate at MAPC on May 1. Please join us in welcoming Aaron, his wife Laurel, and their daughter Lyla to MAPC and New York City.
We are grateful to the Rev. Dr. J. Patrick Vaughn for leading us through the past two and half years as our transitional pastor and helping to prepare us to move into the future. Patrick’s last Sunday with MAPC will be Easter Sunday, April 9th, and we will celebrate his ministry with us at a congregational luncheon on Palm Sunday, April 2.
