Lenten Book Study: You Are What You Love

This year’s Wednesday evening Lent program is a Zoom book study on the much-awarded book You Are what You Love: The Spiritual Power of Habit by James K.A. Smith. Smith is an Augustinian philosopher at Calvin College who is wonderful at writing relevant, careful theology for a popular audience. In addition to several books, you can find his writing in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Christian Century, and Christianity Today.

Chesna will lead this group at 7:30-8:30pm on March 9, 16, 23, and 30 and April 6. Books are readily available online, or you can pick up a copy in the Narthex for $14. Contact ceh@mapc.com.

Upcoming Reading:

3/23: chapters 3-4

3/30: chapters 5-6

4/6: chapter 7
