The NYC Children’s Chorus season is in full swing! We invite you to our upcoming performances:
Saturday, Nov. 4 at 4:30 pm at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine – FREE!
Two choirs of the NYCCC will join forces with the Washington Height Choir School and the Cathedral Choristers of St. John the Divine in the BIG SING, JR!, a choral festival sponsored by the New York Choral Consortium. This one-hour performance will feature each choir independently and a combined performance of 100 children under the direction of Mary Huff & Bryan Zaros.
Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 6 pm at MAPC – FREE!
Four Training Choirs of the NYCCC, ages 6 to 11, will present their Fall Concert, “An American Tale”, featuring American Shaker Songs, African-American Spirituals, and Broadway favorites in this 35-minute joyful celebration of American song!
Friday, Nov. 17, 6 -9 pm at MAPC – Purchase Tickets
The Annual NYCCC Benefit, La Vie En Rose, will feature tasty Parisian hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and desserts, as well as performances by NYCCC’s top ensembles and a live auction
Sunday, Dec. 17 at 3 pm – Purchase Tickets
The 19th Annual Carol Sing will feature MAPC’s Chancel Choir and the advanced ensembles of the NYCCC singing excerpts from Handel’s Messiah juxtaposed with lesser known Appalachian Christmas Carols. String Quintet, seasonal readings, and hearty audience carols round out a perfect December afternoon in NYC!
