Tommy Wazelle is an accomplished opera, oratorio and musical theatre singer, and an Emmy-winning television voice actor. At the core of the program is Dichterliebe, Schumann’s beloved song cycle, Beethoven’s Adelaide, and John Turner’s song cycle, Songs to Leave Under a Tree. A member of MAPC’s professional octet for the past ten seasons, Tommy is also an accomplished trumpeter, and he will perform an interlude featuring two works for trumpet and piano including an arrangement of Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise, and two of his own works for trumpet, voice and piano.
